Magnetic Corner Dock
A floating call widget you can drag and fling: on release its velocity (from the last few pointer samples) projects a landing point, the nearest of four inset corners becomes the target, and a damped spring pulls it in with a little overshoot; a dashed ghost previews the target corner during the drag and arrow keys dock it from the keyboard.
